Our Primary 4 class just love Activity Based Learning! The pupils got hands on with a variety of activities that tied in with our Africa topic.
They made delicious chapati from scratch, created beautiful African-inspired necklaces, built African villages and designed their own chocolate bars, inspired by our class novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Children across the school have had a fantastic time being at one with nature when completing the annual RSPB Big School Bird Watch! They used their scientific knowledge to identify different types of birds across a range of locations including the school gardens and school orchard, The People's Park and Sentry Hill. We are very thankful to have such great venues to complete our outdoor learning and Forest School activities on a regular basis.

Primary 5 have been learning a range of weaving skills and techniques with their teacher Mrs Boyd. They are well on the way to creating some wonderful designs and a few of them called in with Mr Beacom during the week to show off their impressive work!!
