On Friday evening we were updated by the Minister for Education and the Education Authority to say that all schools will be open on Monday. We are closed for the Bank Holiday on Tuesday and unless directed otherwise will reopen on Wednesday. If anything changes we will let you know.Naturally please continue to follow the Public Health Agency guidance. If your child has a new cough, fever or is feeling unwell please do not send them to school. Please be assured that as a school we will be prepared for every eventuality. I would ask parents to keep checking the school website and Facebook page for updates. School closures will undoubtably come. Teachers have prepared year group materials and a wide range of online resources for each child from P1-P7 for use during any school closure. Above all, let us work together and help each other through this time of uncertainty. Remember our kids are watching us and learning about how to respond. Dunclug Primary School is very much a school 'in the community for the community' and now is our time to show this. We can all work together and help those who may be unable to get out of the house for basic needs. As you know we work very closely with our local churches and businesses. If you have an elderly neighbour or relatives who need help, please pm us at any stage.
