School Uniform + School Bags Info
Just a reminder that parents should purchase school uniform (polo shirts and jumpers) from our new supplier Wallaces at Church Street in Ballymena.
We are aware that another retailer was selling our polo shirts and jumpers earlier in July, however we cannot guarantee the quality of these items and they are no longer selling these.
Plain grey skirts and trousers can also be purchased at Wallaces or other clothing stores including M&S or Tesco.
A letter explaining this went out to parents and carers alongside the annual June reports. This letter also explained that, following a two year trial, the vast majority of parents prefer the school polo shirts to the more traditional shirt and tie outfit.
Therefore, as of September, the polo shirt and jumper will be our main school uniform.
Please note both V neck and round neck school jumpers are acceptable but Wallaces will only be selling round neck from now on.
School bags - a few people have asked will school bags be required in September. We will confirm this in August (awaiting guidance from government) but our initial thoughts are that yes, school bags will be needed if not in September , but at some stage during the school year.
