Safer Internet Day

On 6th February our P6/7 class (along with the rest of the school) celebrated Safer Internet Day.

We investigated the impact that influencers, youtubers and content creators have on us and the way that we think about ourselves and others.

As a class we then had a go at creating our own positive influencers and wrote about the positive impact that they would have on the internet.

World War Two Topic

Our topic for Term 2 is World War Two!

We look forward to learning about the outbreak of WW2, the countries involved, individuals who contributed in a positive way to bring an end to war and war around the world today.

Our Class Novel

This term our P6 and P7 pupils are enjoying the opportunity to read our class novel 'Street Child' by Berlie Doherty.

The bestselling novel is based on the story of Jim Jarvis, who alerted Dr Barnardo to the plight of destitute children in Victorian London.
